Re: Finally! She's Coming Home!

She should have arrived by now eh? Hope she has arrived safely and is settling in well. Pixie is a good name for a merle-baby, but if you wanted to stick with the blueberry theme you could just call her Berry :D I was so nervous waiting to pick Moose up off the plane. I'll never forget when they bro...

As a start, how about having a back up for the lead? I have a carabiner hooked on to the handle of Moose's lead. I don't usually attach it t...

Re: Excessive stairing?

How old is Bandit? It's never to old for socialisation but the younger you start the better. Sara, my parents sheltie, was rehomed with them at 2 years old. She was very timid and sensitive but after 4 years is a lot more outgoing and much less shy of men, who she was terrified of to begin with. She...

Typically when dogs develop a fear based on something one person did it will generalise to other similar people, eg if a child, all children; if a man, all men; if a m...

Re: New Emma and Liam photos

Is it just me or is your sable camera shy? I ask because Sara (our sable) is a nightmare to try and snap while Moose (a tri) loves the camera.

New to Sheltie Planet, from Wellington, New Zealand

Hi all GREAT forum and website! I came across it when working through the logistics of getting my Sheltie pup back in December. I got him in January and he is 100% awesome. My introduction to the breed was through my parents' sable Sheltie who is nearly 6 now. We all live together so it's great for ...
